It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Ray Lowry (14/10/2008)

The funeral arrangements will be posted onto www.raylowry.com web site as soon as we know them.

We have already started to receive mail from people wishing to pay their respects and will be posting some of these on the above web site, if you would like us to add any thoughts, feelings and comments then please email them to julian@seegallery.co.uk or via the link on Ray's site or if you wish we will  pass private acknowledgements onto Ray's family.

Sam lowry, Ray's son  has asked us to continue to open the gallery as usual to exhibit his fathers work until the planned end date on the 7th November We would encourage all those who have not yet had the opportunity to come and see the extent of Ray's work, to celebrate his incredible life and pay respect to a man of pure genius.

On a personal note;
Ray entered our lives due to his incredible talent but he touched our hearts and minds in such an enormous way, he became a great friend and adopted family member we loved him dearly and he will be truely missed.

Much , much love Julian and Jackie(see gallery)
See gallery and photographic studio is a new gallery and studio situated in the old, Odd Fellows Meeting Hall, the owners have lovingly restored the beautiful building and made it their home and home to beautiful, individual works of art. Wanting to bring unknown artists work into the heart of a progressive community the owners have specially chosen collections to excite and at times challenge the viewer. The gallery has a relaxed feel, so much so that you may be invited to sit and share food, wine and conversation. It is truely a family affair.
The fully equipped photographic studio that concentrates mainly on portraiture continues the relaxed and intimate feel that mirrored by their approach is evident in the finished photographs.
